Convention – Program 25.-26.th of june 2018

In cooperation with the “Gustav Streseman Institut“, the “Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung” and the EU Commission the Slow Media Institut sets up a transnational project, the “Colloquium European Societies in digital Age”. Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, is patron of the Colloquium.
Later you will find the colloquium, livestreaming and documentations on the first Convention and transnational network on the platform www.colloquium-digital-societies.eu that will be set up by the EU Commssion in summer.

Kick-Off: the Convention in june 2018

The first Convention in 2018 will be held on 25th-26th. june 2018 at Gustav Stresemann Institute Bonn. It will be the kick-off for the colloquium and includes panels, talks and workshops tackling the challenges of European digital societies from different points of view. National and international speakers, organisations and guests will meet and discuss. The convention is funded by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung), Germany. Member of the European Parliament Axel Voss will open the two-day conference with a keynote.
